Landscaping and Horticulture
A practical, "hands-on" instructional program focusing on various aspects of landscape and turf management, floral design and basic horticulture. Students will operate a live greenhouse and work cooperatively with the Marketing program to operate a retail facility. New technologies in agriculture will be introduced including global position systems (GPS) and hydroponics. Additional partnership exists with the Penn State Agricultural Extension Agency in the development of crop test trials on campus. Students assist in maintaining the school grounds.
