“Per Governor Wolf’s announcement today, all schools are physically closed indefinitely (until at least April 30).  This means that all events and activities at Career Tech are cancelled for the month of April, including the NOCTI Exam.

Additionally, Career Tech will begin Enrichment and Review this week.  Enrichment and Review will help students to stay active in their chosen field, and continue to gain the knowledge base necessary to be employed after graduation.  Your instructors are working hard to provide the best possible options for you, so please take full advantage.

All IEP students will be contacted by our learning support staff.  We will work with your sending school to identify the best means of supporting you during this time.

This week, all spring semester students will hear from their program instructors.  Our goal is to personally speak to every student this week.  When you receive an email from your instructor, please respond as soon as possible.

If you do not have an email on file with the school, and have not heard from your instructor by Wednesday (4/1) afternoon, it would be helpful for you to email your instructor so that they will have the best email address for you.

If you do not have a device that you can use to access the internet for distance learning, please let Mr. Sholes know by Friday.  You can leave a message by calling the school at 717-263-9033, extension 223.  Please leave the first and last name of the student who needs the device, as well as a good contact number.  You may also email to justin.sholes@franklinctc.com

Thank you for working with us during this difficult time in our nation and world.  Career Tech remains committed to providing our students with the best education possible, regardless of the circumstances.”
